Stop, Friendly Fire! is an incredibly entertaining ride if you don't take it too seriously. The premise of a skeleton hero who has to hide his identity from other "Heroes" (who would kill him on sight) creates excellent comedic tension. The power system is based on "Bone Reinforcement," which is unique and leads to very creative combat scenes.
The MC, Lee Shin Woo, is refreshingly shameless and logical. The humor often revolves around his "impotency" as a skeleton and his nostalgic feelings for his lost humanity. However, the novel has a major polarizing factor: the harem. What starts as a joke becomes the main subplot, with every female character falling for the MC. The ending also feels somewhat rushed compared to the excellent world-building of the early stages.
For Fans Of: Undead MCs, "zero-to-op" progression, shameless protagonists, and heavy comedy mixed with action.
Not For You If: You despise harem tropes (where every girl fights for the MC), or if you want a serious, high-stakes tragedy. The villains are also somewhat generic compared to the MC.
