The Bad: The characters are paper-thin. Even the MC lacks a consistent personality, fluctuating between "smart survivor" and "dumb brute" as the plot requires. A major frustration for readers is the "silent" dialogue—the MC’s primary partner (Dominique) communicates telepathically, but the author often doesn't write her words, leaving the reader to guess based on the MC's replies.
