Infinite Competitive Dungeon Society (ICDS) is a solid entry in the Hunter/Dungeon genre. It excels at the "drip-feed" of progression—you always feel like the MC is accomplishing something new, whether it's evolving a skill or finding a legendary material. The family dynamic between Shin and his father is a refreshing change from the usual "lonely orphan" trope found in KR novels.
The Good: The system is incredibly well-designed. Toika knows how to make "Leveling Up" feel like a reward for the reader. The early volumes are particularly strong, focusing on the grueling training and the unique mechanics of the Heroic Dungeon.
The Bad: The harem elements can feel forced. Many of the female characters start with unique personalities only to become "obsessed with the MC" archetypes later on. The MC is also notoriously dense regarding romance, which can be frustrating for some. Additionally, the final arc feels slightly rushed compared to the meticulous buildup of the early floors.
For Fans Of: Everyone Else is a Returnee, The Legendary Mechanic, Solo Leveling.
Not For You If: You hate Harem tropes, "dense" protagonists, or stories where the power scaling becomes abstract in the late game.
