The Protagonist (Meng Hao): 9/10. He is arguably one of the most beloved MCs in Chinese web fiction. He is "shameless" but loyal, greedy but principled. His transition from a scholar to a "Demon Sealer" is a masterclass in character progression.

The Comedy: 10/10. The duo of the Meat Jelly (a bell that wants to bully bullies) and Lord Fifth (the perverted parrot) provides some of the funniest chapters in all of web literature.

The "Checklist" Problem: 6/10. Like many 1,000+ chapter novels, it suffers from "padding." Battles can sometimes feel like a list of technical names for moves ($Hex \ 1, Hex \ 2, Hex \ 3...$) rather than a tactical fight.
