⚠️ Not Your Average Horror. If you’re coming from The Easter Egg Game, adjust your expectations. While it features "Death Games," this novel is Logic and Mystery over Gore and Slasher-horror. It feels more like an escape room or a high-stakes detective novel.
The "Disciple" Dynamic. The relationship starts as a mentor-student bond. Jin Cheng (ML) is a legendary player who essentially "adopts" Tang Cuo (MC) into the city. It’s a slow-burn bromance that eventually shifts into a deep, mutual partnership.
World Over Missions. Unlike many "Infinite Flow" novels where the focus is 90% on the dungeons, a huge chunk of this story is about the politics and mystery of Yongye City (the base camp). The city is divided into Areas A-F, and the power struggles between guilds are just as important as the survival games.
The "Minus 5" Will to Live. One of the most unique hooks: Tang Cuo’s initial character score for "Will to Live" is a -5. He's a stoic, meat-cleaver-wielding detective who treats survival like a job, while the ML is a playful, instrument-playing "shameless" veteran.
