Miracle Throne is a popular novel that blends Action, Adventure, Ecchi and more. Written by the author Half-Drunk Wanderer. 658 chapters have been translated, and translation of other chapters is in progress.

Synopsis

The youngest Wiseman of the continent, Chu Tian, has traveled 30,000 years back in time to the age of antiquity due to an accident.

This is a prosperous era. Rare herbs, minerals, treasure relics and monsters can be easily found throughout the land.

However, this is also an undeveloped era. Communications, traffic, martial arts and technology are in its early stage of development. Prosperous cities lack lighting while its citizens are uneducated.

Our decisive MC using his future knowledge creates Magic powered light bulbs, magic powered telephones, magic powered cannons, magic powered computers, artificial intelligence, psyche internet. 30,000 years worth of knowledge allows him to create miracles and shine brightly in this era. Allowing him to conquer the land and sit firmly on the throne of the 10 realms.

💡 The "Future Shock" Insight

The Arrogance Trap: What makes this aspect interesting is the MC's personality. He is a "bulldozer in a china shop." Many readers find him unbearable because he doesn't lay low; he pisses off every "Young Master" he meets, relying on his OP tech to bail him out. He is essentially the "Donald Trump of Cultivation"—arrogant, shameless, and incredibly successful at branding his "Miracles."

Release That Witch Parallel: Honestly, if you enjoyed Release That Witch, the "tech-uplift" vibe here will satisfy you. However, Miracle Throne is much faster and more action-oriented. Chu Tian doesn't just build; he destroys his enemies in two chapters and moves on to the next expansion.

The "Dropped" Warning: Personally, I must warn you that the novel ends abruptly. The author put it on hiatus/dropped it around Chapter 658, right as the "universe mysteries" were starting to get interesting. It has no real conclusion, which can be a major deal-breaker for long-term investment.

Experience Curve

The Wiseman’s Log

Ch. 1–50 (The Startup): ⭐⭐⭐ — Standard Xianxia tropes. Rebirth, slavery, and brow-beating local bullies. Misleading cover art and "smexy" buildup that leads to... homework.

Ch. 51–300 (The Capital Expansion): ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ — The Golden Age. The business takes off. The inventions are fresh, the "Magic Internet" begins, and the world-building is actually engaging.

Ch. 301–500 (The Political Game): ⭐⭐⭐⭐ — Politics and global expansion. The MC deals with kings and emperors, using tech to manipulate the geopolitical landscape.

Ch. 501–658 (The Infinite OP): ⭐⭐ — Tension dies. The MC stops personally developing tech, leaving it to his "not-harem." Enemies are crushed instantly, and the story simply stops with no climax.

WebNovelDB Review

7 /10
A fast-paced, addictive power fantasy that trades character depth for the sheer fun of watching future tech crush ancient civilizations.

Polish: 8/10. The early translation is high-quality, though the story later shifts toward MTL (Machine Translation) territory for those desperate to finish. The writing is heavy on "Exclamation Points!" and excitement.

Pacing: 9/10. It moves like a bullet. Chu Tian solves life-long family disasters in two days. It avoids the "dragging" typical of novels like SOTR or Emperor's Domination.

Character Depth: 5/10. Most side characters and villains are generic ego-strokers or "mindless zombies" who fawn over Chu Tian's inventions. The female leads have unique descriptions but often become "play-doh" in the MC's hands.

Originality: 8.5/10. The concept of "Magic Internet" and "Magic Computers" in an ancient setting is executed with a lot of creative (if nonsensical) technobabble.

The Good:
The "Company Building." Watching a startup go from a small city to a global superpower using "Magic Audiobooks" to teach cultivation is genuinely entertaining. It's a "business expansion" novel disguised as a Xianxia.

The Bad:
The Gary-Sue Problem. Chu Tian never loses. There is zero tension in the later chapters because his tech is so OP that "god-tier" threats are dismissed in a single paragraph. The MC also becomes a "yes-man" to his female business partners, which clashes with his otherwise "Alpha" arrogance.

The Archetype:
The Industrialist Sage — A hero who doesn't just want to be the strongest; he wants to be the CEO of the world.

Verdict:
Miracle Throne is a "brain-off" addictive read for fans of Tales of Demons and Gods or SOTR. If you can survive the first 30 chapters of standard arrogance, the transition into "Business Empire" building is a great change of pace. Just be prepared for the abrupt stop at Chapter 658.

Key Information

Main Characters: Chu Tian (The Great Sage) — Originally the youngest "Wiseman" of his continent, Chu Tian travels 30,000 years back in time after an experiment goes wrong. He inhabits the body of a down-on-his-luck noble sold into slavery. He is an "idiot savant" in social terms—arrogant, cocky, and ruthless—but a peerless genius in "fantasy-technobabble." He is a quintessential Gary-Sue who treats everyone as "primitive" and "trash," yet he is fiercely protective of his allies, often using his future knowledge to "miraculously" solve their problems in record time.
Power System: Magic-Powered Technology (Techno-Cultivation). The world is in an undeveloped "Antiquity" age. Chu Tian bridges the gap by using 30,000 years of future knowledge to "invent" modern conveniences powered by magic. This isn't just about personal strength, but the creation of a Miracle Company that mass-produces: Magic Light Bulbs & Air Conditioners (Lighting and comfort). Magic Telephones & Psyche Internet (Communications). Magic Cannons & AI (Warfare and automation). While he practices traditional cultivation, his real edge is the logistics and economic power generated by his "miracles."
Themes: Technological Industrialization and Business Expansion. Unlike typical "murder-hobo" Xianxia, the core of the story (once past the start-up area) is building a pancosmic business empire. It explores how future technology can skip thousands of years of development, turning an underdog into a king through economic dominance rather than just fistfights.
